What does the setup look like?

The Story Case will be transported to your desired venue. Here are a few important things to note:

Duration:

Audience:

Recommended for young children aged 4-7 years.
Preferred audience size is up to 25 children.
To avoid distractions during the storytelling, we recommend the children be of similar ages.
Can accommodate children with special needs. It is important that parents accompany their children during the storytelling session.

Languages:

Delivered in English. Can be delivered in other languages depending on the availability of storytellers.

Format:

Story is told using small pop-up characters.
Also features a feel-good action song with percussion instruments distributed to the audience (all Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines apply).
Ends with Question & Answer time to ask a few concept check questions, memory recall, and explain the moral of the story.
Optional themed Arts and Crafts is also available and must be confirmed at the time of booking.

Tech requirements:

The Story Case measures 212cm width x 38cm depth.
Requires electrical power for the sound system.
Adequate lighting and area with minimal ambient noise.
Ground floor venue ideal or access to a nearby elevator with sufficient space to transport The Story Case to other floors. Due to the size and weight of The Story Case, stairs are not an option.
Parking ideally near the venue entrance.
Flat surface is required for The Story Case to stand and balance correctly.
Bean bags or floor mats for children to sit on. Can be seated about a metre from The Story Case.
Air-conditioned venue preferred.

Stories available:

Can bespoke stories be created and tailored for the event?

Yes, as long as there is no copyright issue.
Custom stories will require a minimum of six weeks to produce and must be paid in advance.
